I took an old Godzilla model (the re-release of the Aurora kit), cut it in half, and placed it in this diorama. The "ocean" is Flex-Paste from Woodland Scenics. After it dried and was painted, I covered it with Water Effects, to give it that shiny, watery look. The ship was a cheap WW2 landing ship kit that I slightly converted to a freighter.
