There've been a lot of V2s lately thanks to Anakin Starkiller's awesome, detailed final version. Which is awesome. So I, without the talent to paint or accurize anything, felt I could never do justice to the distressing of the hilt. I commissioned it out to Mr. Mold Maker who I think has done a phenomenal job. I could not be happier with the gritty look, and full credit goes to him. Thanks for looking. Also credit to Slothfurnace for the card, Roman for the clamp, and Trent for his stencils!

This is my Halliwax "Prototype" V2. I don't think much needs to be said about his results... Just a few notes about my V2, I originally had a Roman's clamp on there but came across a very nice vintage clamp and snagged that. In addition, I am using Slothfurnace's vintage V2 card with the solder lines, along with Roy's (Wanawanga) clamp lever. This is basically my holy grail lightsaber. Ever since I first saw the Master Replica's one way back in the day (but somehow missed the preorder!) I have wanted one of these. Thanks to Starkiller, Halliwax,Trooper Trent, Slothfurnace, and Roy. I can now live out my days as a happy lightsaber collector!

Chassis and the finish crystal chamber parts should be here next week. Couldn’t for the life of me find a 0.8mm wrench...

I’ve been having a hell of a time this past week with finding small metric stuff..

You have any luck finding one here in the states?

Here's mine. I'm not too happy with colour of the clamp so I might swap it out at some point. Maybe when I get my V2 builders kits.

Cheers! My problem with it is it seems a bit too silvery. The original prop looks to have a dark chrome finish.

Is it an allen key? Wal Mart sells a pack of them with a set in Metric and in inches.

This is my LDM V2

I need to do a few cosmetic changes for accuracy like getting a new clamp card, adding the tape to the neck and swapping out the small screw for a cubed one.
