Thunderbirds - The Mole

Hi All,

Thunderbirds - The Mole
Recipe

The Mole - is an old IMAI kit and I built it straight from the box but left the little wheels off as it was originally designed to roll across the floor.
I painted and weathered The Mole using Vallejo and Army painter paints and pastel chalks.

Base - is a piece of foam board and the ground work was done using a mix of sand 40% and spakfilla 60% and mixed it and then applied it to the base.
For the debri I used palstic card and plastic rod for the metal debri and kitty litter for the cement rubble and I used Vallejo paints and pastel chalks to paint and weather the ground work and debri.

Thunderbirds had some magnificent rescue equipment and of all of the deployed units the Mole was my favorite.
Love the weathering on it- you managed to make it look well used but cared for!

F.A.B. mate! You gotta love those models from the Thunderbird series:thumbsup

Cheers mate and yeah the models are great even for their age but I would love to see a company make new kits of all the TB's and the rescue equipment.
