Mission: Impossible Ethan Hunt Costume Thread

Re: 1996 Mission: Impossible Ethan Hunt “CIA Computer” Costume

Found the disc brand. According to the label, the disc is a Verbatim 230MB disc, and it comes in a transparent case like many of its type. What I can’t seem to find is any sort of clear Magneto Optical disc from the brand (although there are many non-transparent options out there).

Update: I’ve gone back and replaced all the links with photos for a better browsing experience. Also, has any one gained any particular insights?

Re: Mission: Impossible Ethan Hunt “CIA Computer” Costume

Not to bog up this website with another thread, I’ve decided to repurpose this one as can be seen by the change in title.
Anyways, besides the heist outfit I’ve already talked about, he has a lot of other outfits in this film, including three disguises. I’ll start with his second most iconic look:

Ethan seems to have gone back to the black jeans look in the last two films. Also, he wears a watch with this outfit:

Like his other watches, this is a Casio. To be exact, it is the Casio DW 290. It is available here: https://www.amazon.com/Casio-DW290-1V-Classic-Sport-Watch/dp/B000GB1R8M
In the film, Ethan has two dressier outfits used in action scenes. Here’s the one used in the exploding fish tank scene:

The shirt is from Turnbull and Asser, who made the dress shirts for Daniel Craig in Casino Royale. As for the bow tie, it is from TM Lewin. Here are some images of Ethan’s outfit on the train:

While many perceive the shirt to be white, it is a actually a very pale blue. The shirt was made by Dometakis (which to my understanding, is the United Kingdom equivalent of Anto in Beverly Hills). As for the pants, the were made by Alan Sletzer. Finally, there is his fireman outfit which was sold by Propstore at one point, but I couldn’t find the images from the site. Instead, these Nate D Sanders images will do:

The firefighting gear was made by Globe in the mid 90s and is very hard to find these days. As for the black t shirt, I don’t think it is the one used, the reason being the plausibility that Tom Cruise would wear an XXL is extremely slim.
That’s all I have for now, I’ll post later when I find more.

That’s a lot of money for something with no screen time.
The auction listing even has the image of Cruise suspended over the floor, but he’s clearly wearing the decibel meter and not the watch.
