Was lucky enough to been present for a flight test of this beat up Y-Wing after some quick repairs were made. These were taken at my recent vacation at the Yavin Rebel Base. :)

I tried to make these as real as possible trying even to get a movie, film like look on them. I think I got a decent enough result to show here. Hope you like!

pretty sure your the bandai painting master!, will be referencing your pics for when i get the courage to paint up mine lol

As I stated in your other build thread , a master of two disciplines - building beautiful models and photographing them ! Thanks for sharing :p

Excellent composites!

Really makes it shine

Thanks man! To clarify, those images are not composites. The sky behind its real. Manipulation was done to get rid of the stand and to get the film like look. Also the engine output was digitally created with my friends from Adobe Photoshop.

Thanks for clarifying, I wasn't sure. Probably one of the reasons it looked so convincing as a real object int he sky compared to it composited onto a backdrop :lol

Still a great job removing the stand

I wish you could just buy the software from them outright instead of that ridiculous subscription only nonsense

Still trying to find a good alternative
