Steve Ditko passed away

I read this and thought "oh man... these guys would be bummed"

Then I read Patton Oswalt's tweet about him and turned in my nerd card.
 
Rest in Peace,Mr.Ditko.And thank you for your legacy,providing so much entertainment to the world.You will be missed,and yet remembered through your work
 
What a shame. He's my favorite silver age artists - more than even Kirby. Ditko's design and storytelling was amazing - it's a shame he doesn't get as much recognition as Lee and Kirby.

(Although - I guess I understand why he didn't... he didn't amass the same work that they did).
 
As a fan of Bandes Dessinées (Comics, European style: Tintin for example), I was always fascinated by the style and dynamics of American Comics story-telling.
Alex Raymond, Kirby, Lee and Ditko (the list of those wonderful artist is quite long and influenced a lot of European -style artists) are my favs! A loss for sure:cry
