So, I haven't been to SDCC for a couple of years, and in the past, you needed to pick up your badge at the convention center. Now they mail out badges to attendees. So, my brother has a badge but won't be going, so I thought I would head on back down to SD with his badge. I'm pretty sure it should not be a problem, seeing as they can't match badges and ID's on every attendee (that would be impossible), but I did come across this snippet on their website
"To prevent scalping, badges for Comic-Con are non-transferable. Each badge features a unique barcode and RFID card registered to the badge holder. Security checks will be performed to ensure that only the person on the badge is admitted to the event."
I have no idea what that means, as I can't see any way that they would know if you are the actual holder of teh badge without checking individual ID's. Just wanted to make sure it won't be an issue before I make plans to go.
Thanks for any help clearing this up.
