My 18" diameter Moebius Jupiter 2

I know this might be a dumb question, but...once the landing legs/stairs are assembled, what's the trick to getting them up in the hull? I get the part about gently spreading the top to get them in the slots, but getting the assembly into the hull. i admit i didn't fool around with it a whole lot yet, was just doing a test fit.
