Interesting that they chose not to model the corridors leading off the hold. Or are they not at all visible when you peer in through the tiny opening at the top?

Here's some comparisons to the Bandai 1/144 Falcon. I'll also be taking some pics of the internal layout... I'll definitely be adding to that!

Interestingly, this kit doesn't come with landing gear... Or the ramp in the down position. However, the landing gear and down ramp from the regular Falcon kit fit perfectly. I'm displaying mine with the fear and ramp down:

I will be getting the shapeways upgrades for the Turret wells, maybe the cockpit and back wall, too.

4479259]Thanks so much for these, Korben44! Yeah, I think opening up and extending the corridors off the main hold is a mod that's in order. :thumbsup

You're welcome HoJ! And that's exactly what I'm going to do!

4479313]Yup, open those tunnel corridors for sure. Interesting about the ramp and gear from the regular 1/144 fitting on the new kit. Glad I saved mine. I can't wait to see if some madman cannibalizes both kits to come up with a display showing Han's modifications in progress!

You're giving me some ideas! I might have to get another Lando one and another Han one... But, I first need to finish my docking bay 94 diorama and this guy.

That's some pretty disappointing kit for such a high price. 20 bucks more expensive as the TLJ Falcon with half the parts and not even landing gear? Bandai is getting greedy, it seems.
And not even clear part canopy and windows? Are they freaking serious?

What's interesting is that the boarding ramp tunnel is there and has an opening and LED stand for lighting it.
The ramp it's self has no top details, just open frame edges.

Wonder if they where planning the parts and scrapped it or if they intend a aftermarket kit.

It's the same thing for the landing gear, as well. Unless my kit didn't come with any of that. But I agree, at $70, this kit should have included all the extras. At least there are water slide decals and not just stickers.
