Maybe it was that guy with 41 followers that some would have you think speaks for most of the world and represents the people who dont buy in to Disneys version of Star Wars.;)

The use of the Force and the motivations of the user have clear cut rules as to what is bad and what isn't. Aggression is the dark side. Pretty clear cut. How do you not know this? And why the need to turn it into a discussion of something political. This isn't that.

Yeah that's pretty much the way I look at it personally but I get what you're saying, It's not the Jedi way. I think that's why I like Luke more than the sanctimonious Jedi of the prequels. He's not all hung up on absolutes like the Sith and the Jedi are. Bit of a free thinker, for a while anyway. ;)

So...back to KK, anything yet! LOL

Recent news of easing back on production might also be a sign that Disney dont want to overwhelm a new President and have the plan, lol plan, start to unravel again. Hmmm.

Space casino stuff is meh, but TLJ is a great SW movie that echoes a lot of the mythos already at the table.

White is the color of sterility. A big motif of the Imperial visuals is this theme of lifeless sterility. There's no joy, the Death Star is just some empty shell of a hulk, there's not even any office potted plants. The Stormtroopers are all a part of that. They're faceless thugs. In turn, the Imperial officers are all older white men. There's no women (a symbol of fertility) or aliens (a symbol of diversity) among them. On the inverse, the protagonists of the OT are made of of elderly aliens, youthful aliens, old men, young men, young women, older women. The protagonists are all diversified, while the Empire is all made up of these uniformly clad faceless goons like the minions you might find working for the head baddie in a '40s cartoon or comic strip.

Collider is reporting that the Star Wars stories are potentially on hold. I don';t think Obi-Wan has ever moved out of rumor space-- though it is the only one that a small majority fans would actually want to see. Far as I know, Fett is the only one announced, right? And it doesn't even have a release date-- just a director/writer.

If true, that certainly confirms Solo bombed hard enough for them to change tact. Like I've been saying, I'd expect Fett and E9 to have to bomb before they changed their plans, so I can admit I was wrong there if this report is true.

But my bigger point, that KK is automatically doomed and in hiding or otherwise a failure still remains to be seen. If they plan to hold back and just focus on Johnson's trilogy (guess he's not fired OMG!) after E9 that may or may not help depending on how you felt about TLJ.

No mention of the GOT guys or the TV show. I'm still waiting for another source to verify.

If I recall that's to give them a skeletal look. Both Stormtrooper and Darth Vader's helmets are made to resemble skulls.

Are you talking about 'The Director and the Jedi'? Where Mark said he fundamentally disagreed with everything that Rian had done. But in another interview later, states that he is firmly in "Rian's camp".

Let's say he is doing a mind trick of sorts. They sure made it vague. Even when I was a kid a thought Luke was Force choking them. You would think that if that wasn't their intention they would have made it a bit more clear??? And besides what evidence is there to support a mind trick? The only time we had seen it, was Obi-Wan, influencing the Sandtroopers to let them pass. Then later so the guards don't notice him. Taking everything we had seen up to that point. It would seem that their intention was to show Luke using a power that, up to that point, only Vader had used.

Regardless of how things stand right now, its just incredible from purely a business standing that rumors from third party sources, even when those sources are widely considered to be Disney mouthpieces, are the only Star Wars news the world is getting. Whats even more staggering is that Lucusfilm`s parent company Disney is up to its mouse ears in a multi billion dollar acquisition and all that is coming out of its number one, well used to be number one IP is rumors. I would never have the plums to speak for Rupert Murdoch or what his preferences are, although I did spend an entire day with his late mother once for work, incredible woman, but dealing with a company that allows rumors to fester without having the leadership speak to them directly is not something he would consider acceptable.
