Yes, another BTTF2 nike footwear bag build

We almost need a definitive FOOTWEAR Tube Bag thread to really nail every aspect of this very popular prop.

Over the years, there has been several card board tube bags, but the grail was the limited (to 6?) Jovan bag and possibly the 3 made by Aaron Waud.

I don't believe anyone has done a full fiberglass version before and certainly no one has vacuum formed one, so we are both really pushing the limits of what can be done here.

I totally agree man. Just like a discussion thread for the mags a thread dedicated to the FOOTWEAR bag. It would be nice to see what info anyone eles can bring

Update:

Finally got around to finishing the end nozzle mold. Im not the best mold maker so its not the best mold so Ill have to practice getting decent casts from it.

I first tried using smooth cast 65d but it just came out way to heavy so then I tried epoxacoat filled with foam it 3 and it came out way better but still needs improvement

In high rez close up, these bumps are small and yellow. Almost like 3mm LEDs had been glued in from the inside panel.

Maybe it is time for that dedicated thread.

They could be anything really. But i think what would look best would be the ends of pins you put in a cork board.

Got around to mounting the end nozzles to the main body to see how it would function and it still needs a bit of work. Its not a practical design for a bag as its quite difficult to open and close in general. It also wants to buckle and twist on me but I have some ideas on how to fix that like reinforcing the main body from warping and figuring out a way better solution to mount the end nozzles.

Im also casting more parts for more bags as now im afraid of ruining the prototype so making sure I have extras

Looking really good. I did notice how the lids slide a bit along the length. This is why I came up with the runner system I'll build into mine. It means the lids can't move in that direction and would still work even if an end cap falls off.
