District 9 Assault Rifle Build (TMAX's current run)

Man, I thought mine was heavily weathered! I just got schooled! Lol

It's not too heavily weathered I hope ? I know it's pretty full on compared with, for example, the Weta replica.

I decided to tone down the weathering just a little. Here's what I've ended up with...

This weathering business is a bit addictive, but I'm at the point where I just need to leave it alone, and call it done.

At this stage, I'm left with a few jobs to finish this beast off...

- Weather the 24 little cylinders
- Finish making the alignment jig for gluing the cylinders in place
- Enhance the circuit board greeblies on each side
- Make some kind of stand to display it.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks, Tmax, for a great kit and for your build thread, and thanks to many others on this forum that have provided inspiration from their builds of a multitude of other great props.

Mate, she turned out awesome! Great job. Love the finish! I'm definitely going to have to redefine my idea of "heavy" weathering. Lol!

One comment, it may just be the angle of the pics, but the angle of the side cylinders looks a little off. Do they need to be angled back further?
