Available for the first time ever in 1/35 scale for armor and diorama modelers, the D-Day Waco glider (also known as the Hadrian glider in the UK) is now out from Masterpiece Models:

It's taken many years to bring this complex and massive resin model to market. Wingspan is just under 29 inches! The model is made of cast resin and brass depicting a fully-detailed interior welded steel framework and cockpit with realistic stretched fabric "skin." Thanks to the inclusion of a detailed interior, this model can be built whole or crashed/partially destroyed for WWII-era D-Day dioramas.

High quality, pressure-cast resin parts are molded from 3D-printed masters. Based on detailed photos, measurements, and access to the original manufacturer's assembly manuals for a real WWII D-Day glider.
