Archive X Paints - Quick Question On Varying With Acrylics

Hey, everyone.

I'm fearing that answer on this, but...

The Archive X boxcar red I want to use on my Bandai Falcon, because it's too important a colour to screw up, and I see lots of model Falcons where the red is "off". But: I'm going to be painting it in acrylics, and I know the Archive X is enamel. Can I put the enamel over the acrylics, or will mayhem ensue? I've never mixed colors before, and I know this is a rudimentary question.

Cheers!

Flat acrylic is a perfect base for top coat enamel.

Acrylics 'can' go over enamel, but the enamel would have to be thoroughly dry (hard) and sanded well to get acrylic to stick.
