Hi NS,
I'm using Fusion 360, I think it's excellent!

Staggeringly great. I also have come to like this speeder despite...well! (That windshield is the classic Lego Space cockpit piece!) I think, thematically, it's designed to mirror the Falcon. The Blue is mirrored on Lando's plate livery, and the asymmetrical "Book" design likewise mirrors the offset symmetry of the Falcon's dish and cockpit.
Curious, though. Why did you build this from scratch, instead of just modding either the toy or the kit?
Wow man:cool Great work on that one! Sharp and crisp...that's how I like my models Eager to see the next update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed on all points! What printer did you use, and what was the cost for the plastic, out of curiosity?
Wow. Just amazing on modeling and printing
I'm printing on a cr10 and already know the second it breaks I'm buying another 3d printer. I'm sold on the whole thing.
The best part is you have modeled something that could be now printed 1:1 if you wanted....
At something this scale what layer height do you use?
Interesting Hasbro version screwup...might make the Hasbro version worth buying!

Oh, the Hasbro is definitely a toy. But, I love (in that linked article) that it explains that (unlike the Revell kit), Hasbro somehow screwed up and made their toy based on the concept version of it, which makes it interesting from a curiosity point of view.
What's the size of this, and what does total cost come in at? (And, would you consider running out and shipping the parts if somebody paid you!)
Found these online from a Japanese interview with Narita, the guy who modelled the digital versions at ILM.
