It sure was dan... 2 nights of measurements. Still can’t make it exactly like yours because of the difference in sizes. I had to take a few liberties here and there.

It’s closer but not exact

Is that one of those cheap Fiskars cutting mats I see on Amazon? From the reviews I've read they're pretty thin and folks complain about them.

Do you like it? I was thinking if getting two of the big ones to make a huge one.

Cheap?! This ******* cost me 30 something bucks... I picked mine up from michaels crafts I don’t cut on mine so I couldn’t tell ya. It’s fairly thick, can’t say it’s thin? But all the mats at michaels were the same gauge

I always use for sale signs for cutting stuff, idk I’m weird I guess lol

$18 and change, it's got a good rating overall, but some of the reviews had me concerned. And yeah, most mats that size are more like the $30 you paid, and more!

I suppose the only way for me to find out is to order one.

"Self healing" is mostly marketing spin for "made of soft plastic that will push together so it looks like the cut closed." If you flex it or pull it open, the material will pull apart again.

Yes, there is advanced nano-tech that enables the cutting mat to regenerate after suffering any damage. It was a part of the tech that was reverse engineered from a crashed flying saucer kept since the 50’s at Area 51 and sold to the Michaels / Hobby Lobby cabal (the keystone organizations of the Deep State).

Excuse me a moment, I need to logout in order to put a fresh layer of tinfoil upon my head.

I would check it about every 15 minutes, I think I had the booster in about 45 minutes? Pulled it out, let it sit a minute, rinsed with clean water, cloth dried, then used fine steel wool to buff.

The pommel was maybe 30 minutes, rinsed, buffed, then I chucked it up to the drill press to shine up the outer bits
Sorry I didn’t get it in detail: I tend to approximate my values while I’m weathering

On a side note topic...the entire “Pop Culture Quest” episode featuring the V2 appears to have I been removed from YouTube, leaving only the short clip featuring the hilt. I can’t find the full espisode anywhere:
