Yea it certainly looks like the base is an airsoft. I pulled this pic off the DEC build thread here on RPF. I know this mystery disk does look similar to TFA one but I’m pretty sure it’s not. ln the middle of the disk you can see the center dot/hole that was similarly seen on the original ‘77 HERO and not on TFA blaster. I believe that this new mystery disk is an added silver disk just glued to the side possibly.

That scope wheel, mystery disk are both different in detail than what was seen on TFA blaster. Then there is that added nut under the flash hider, also seen on the ‘77 HERO but not on TFA build.

These details lead me to believe that what we have here is the real deal [emoji106]

If they used material similar to above then it’s easily sandable and they could then blend it into the actual Mauser itself. Metal is nice but it would be much harder to get it smooth and look as good..

Is stuff from the trailer really a spoiler? Also how do we not know woody is just inspecting Mr Faux’s blaster since Mr Faux is already wearing his holster in that clip?

I think this is a throw back to the original Conan the barbarian scene when his father explains “steel” to him. That or Woody gives his own take on the “hokey religions” speech. I hope I’m wrong on both accounts
