Cheesy/Retro Movie Thread

The Green Slime was a favorite when it was on TV as a kid. I just rewatched the first episode of The Martian Chronicles today........since it was on TV originally.

Remo Williams aint cheese.....Its pure gold.

I wouldn't consider Dragonslayer a cheesy movie. To this day, that is still the best dragon movie ever made.
I actually disagree. I think Reign of Fire is one of the better "dragon" movies thus far. Just as I would say The Howling is one of the best "werewolf" movies of today. Also, Bloodsport being the best "tournament' movie till this day.

And who can forget the debut of Farrah's nude boob on the silver screen? Plus, this was an awesome robot!!

I was 10 when I saw that , in the theaters!

My grandfather often took me to the movies and I loved sci fi/fantasy stuff. The commercials on TV made it look like a normal sci-fi movie not a border line softcore porn in disguise (at least to my 10 year old brain). Apparently he missed the rating (or maybe he just wanted to see Farah anyway :) )

I had only seen brief boob shots on Benny Hill or Monty Python before that

that robot also scared the crap out of me

admittedly, I have never seen it since then and I am sure it is now quite tame (lame) by today's standards, but at the time it both terrified me, and thrilled me

I hadn't even been allowed to see Alien since it was rated R :lol

1988's Dead Heat was an AWESOME viewing, and worthy of a repeat mention in this thread. A HUGE thank you CWDevine for posting it. I had forgotten how much fun this flick was.

Next on my list...
