Rust-Oleum 2x Ultra Cover Paint and Primer - any good for aluminum?

I need to prime some aluminum parts and I saw the Rust-Oleum 2x Ultra Cover Paint and Primer flat black, which is the color I need the finished pieces to be. It says it works on wood, metal, and plastic. Usually people say you need an etching primer for metal, so that's why I'm skeptical. Is this stuff good or not, anyone know?

This Is just what I do for aluminum. while doing my deep sleep guns. I hit the aluminum with a white vinegar wash. not left on just wiped down and then washed of and dried well. and I always use an automotive primer for any metals.

I ended up getting Dupli-Color self etching primer for aluminum. I have one plastic piece glued on it, which I'm guessing would have to be masked against this stuff. I also have a wood piece that is already sealed on it. Would the primer adversely effect the sealed wood or would it be okay to spray also?
