Been working on this for a few months, recently got the CAD master pattern parts from the printer:

Parts cleanup work then molding will be started now. CAD model for Diver is currently under construction.

Here's a casting of the Sky 1 kit. And the Diver CAD model is nearly done.

Looks great! Will the 'glass' be cast resin, or will there be a alternative? Not a fan of clear resin, usually.

Yorkie, I do want to do an interceptor, partly because it'a great design, partly for the challenge. It's a deceptively tough shape to get right and the only one I've seen who nailed it was David Sisson.
 
Received mine today. Looks fantastic. Needs a bit of a clean up but overall very nice casting. Thanks Don, can't wait for the Diver section then I can dive straight in :lol

Won't be printed for a few months until after I begin casting the 1/1000 Enterprise D.
