Anyone still have the old TSR board game? Anyone loved it?
Watched Stranger Things and remembered playing it in our vasement. Spent hours playing it, arguing over rules with friends. Loved how unpredictable it was. You could have multiple alliances, be sieging an enemy city and it could all fall apart in a few turns. Former enemies could change sides in one turn. There were magical leaders and creatures. You could beg for a gift from the gods or summon a barbarian army. I wish the naval aspect had been expanded. Great fun.
I read once that Gygax and his friend (can’t remember his nsme) who created it were going to expand the world of Minaria. Was it Gygax or am I mixing him up with another?
I played it as a kid but my copy was lost in a fire at a friends home. My kids are old enough and on the hunt for one.
