Steampunk Tattoo Machine

Last week I had appointment with my tattoo artist and thought I'd work up a piece for her shop. Basically I started with a length of brass lamp nipple & just rooted through my parts bins until it got to the point where I could call it done.

Man, that's just right on the mark. Not too much, not too little. It would take me half a winter to concept and execute that, I admire your perseverance. I love steampunk machinery that's a little scary. Is that functional or display? Nice work.
