For all those that seen the movie and ((spoilers))


Is anyone interested in making King T'Chakas helmet!? I think its by far the best of the Panther Helmets. Wish i could find a screen grab or anything but I might have to go see the movie again to get a photo. Would love to see some interest in this!

First time I saw that helmet instantly fell in love with it, it looked so royal and pristine :thumbsup

EDIT #2: My bad, it seems that the above images are fan made based on the Civil War suit repainted with gold accents like in the comic books. The search continues!

Sometimes those Art of the Movie books have exactly what you are looking for!

I'm almost certain the helmet in the film is the design in the top photo with the turn-around and I believe the suit is the Civil War-esque design from the bottom photo.
 
YESSS!!!! That first helmet is the one that was in the movie! Looks just as fantastic as i remember it. Just ordered the art book and will be scanning the pages in for a better ref. in a few days. Now to find someone thats interested in getting this into a file to print

I'm sorry, I've looked through the site and still can't see the kings helmet? It's just BP, killmonger and some of the other characters costumes.

That helmets cool tho, if a little oversized looking. Something looks off about the back

I was reading an article from one of the VFX companies that worked on Black Panther and I believe they say that T'Chaka's helmet was completely digital, similar to Bor's Helmet from Thor: The Dark World. They also said the the suit was the Civil War suit, but they digitally recolored the metal accents to be gold instead of silver.
 
There has to be an actual movie production model. He physically takes off and holds his helmet in the beginning of the movie. The CGI is good, but I don't think it's that good. I do agree with the suit being the same from civil war. Maybe they meant t'challa's new armor?
