Gotta say i was blown away by the amount of details and engineering that went into the production of this kit. I was lucky not to get any gaps (thank the modeling gods!) and no major issues.
Also a big thanks to all of you guys who posted pics of your Falcons on the Bandai 1/72 Falcon thread..it was most inspiring.

Kudos to Bandai for bringing to reality the the most accurate version of my favorite ship of all time.
I must say i was a bit sad to finally finish this build.

Anyhow, here are a bunch of pics,
These were taken at night under warm lighting.
Ill have to take some daylight pics and update soon.

DS, it's been a ball being on this journey with you. I know my build is better from watching you and shamelessly stealing your ideas. She's a beaut! Worthy of recognition in the archives of the Jedi Order. Congrats!

What’s the ETA on yours.
Love seeing your sneak peak pics.

ETA? Ha. That's funny. :( I'm still working on the bottom. It could be months. I swear, every streak is a 30 minute process -- most of that time being second-guessing. I made some progress this weekend. I'll post some pics in the regular PG thread.

Excellent work.

Colors look perfect as well as the chipping and weathering effects

I also like the way the light from the landing gear reflects off that glossy base

Hopefully mine will turn at least half as nice

Minor nitpick that only applies to when the lights are on and you're looking up from the bottom,...but I do see a little light leak on the back sidewalls where they meet the top engine deck. Is it still possible to put some electric tape or something along the inside seams since the back opens up?

The only reason I mention it is you've done such a perfect job everywhere else

Very, very nice!!! I'm building one right now so I fully appreciate what you have there. The work load on these are just insane and you nailed it all! Once again, spectacular job!

Cheers,
Steve.
