Nice N Slave 1

So realistically beautiful - in that gritty , ugly way you know !? . Thank you for sharing :p

Would love to know how you achieved what you have ( not having anywhere close to your skill , experience and knowledge ) . Will you be posting descriptions/ photos regarding your techniques here in the future ? Asking cause not on Facebook .

:cheersGed

So we got a "Haynes Millennium Falcon Owners Manual" so maybe it's time for one for the Slave 1? Cause this is beautiful.

Yep, the build is one thing of beauty, but a way to make it crappy is by missing completely the paint job...Not happening here folks: this is first rate, pro-job paint effects!! Amazing:cool

John: can you take pics of or show how it's mounted? I have one of these and I'm not sure how to get the mount to hold so much weight.

Yeah sure, I just have a rod threaded into the mount that is on the kit, and then that rod threads onto welded nut on a thick steel plate. That plate will get covered up by a mirrored base come the finish. DE45F596-F6AE-433D-8FF7-AF6575F54189.jpeg

I haven't been excited about a model build in a long time. I love everything about this one! Fantastic work, looking forward to your future posts and projects. Definitely set the benchmark for the rest of us.
