Star Trek NOMAD - plans or hints?

A friend mentioned that he's been wanting to build NOMAD forever, apparently has some files for all the holes on the main body, but doesn't know how to model the rest. I was wondering if anyone knew of any plans/diagrams that were available as a starting point?

As far as I know there is/was only one primary source which was some guy on eBay selling kits.

Hmm, I was naively thinking more of some cooperative community thing ;-) I still forget how these prop things go...
