I am new to cosplay, sewing and prop making and very new to this forum. I have never made a prop before and the only sewing I have done is I hemmed something that was straight and made a bow.
My 11yr wants to make a Ezra Costume from scratch, he wants to do as much as he can himself with my help when needed.
I am rather unsure where to start.
All I can think is if I get a basic jumpsuit and bolero jacket pattern that maybe we can adjust to start the base of the costume and I think the easiest prop to start with for the costume will be the shin guard.
I have had a search on here but haven't found anything. Can anyone point me in the direction for patterns or how to's for a shin guard, etc?
