Yes, but KOCS wasn't really like those 50s B-movies that Lucas quotes as inspiration. It was after all a standard Indy flick that is rooted in the old serials and follows the same structure of the old ones. A 50s martian b-movies are very different in terms of pacing, tone, structure from how the final movie came out.

Awful character named after a dog, and shoddy obvious CGI.

A useless film, haven't seen it since 2008 and don't plan to ever. Its awful.
