Lightsaber electronics options? Help!

I am wanting to put some basic lighting and sound in my next saber build. I have been doing some research. Although, I wanted to see what you guys have done for you sabers and what options I have for a cost effective setup. All help is greatly appreciated!

You can' go wrong with a Nano Biscotte for your soundboard. Very basic but very reliable. If you're going with a Plecter-Pixel or other Neo-pixel blade, I'd use a Prism soundboard. You can do some awesome things with a Neo-pixel blade. I'd do with a bass speaker for best sounds. You can find most of this stuff at the Custom Saber Shop, with the exception of the neo pixel adapter but that's coming out soon.

New pixel is the new hot thing, but I’m old school and not much of a fan of it right now

I think once I learn more about new pixel I’ll adapt over to it.
