Suggestions on my gauntlets with my latex doj suit?

am looking for suggestions on my gc5fx gauntlets. When I slide them on ( they fit tight) they cause the arms of the suit to ride up and bunch up. (As you can see in the pictures) I was wondering if I cut the gauntlets down the middle and attach some velcro to put them on would that eliminate that problem? I figure*It may because I could just place them over the arms rather than sliding them up.
