Paintjob looks great, but the range finder ear cap should be sitting on top of the lower earcap. You've got it Boba style there (same with the RF box). I'm assuming he sent you the kit?

Here's one of the screen used helmets. Notice the placement of the ear cap and the design of the range finder box.

No worries. The jango helmet was my first ever foray into prop building...assembled/painted about 5 or so so far so it's one of the few prop pieces I know lol

I appreciate the help and info.

I DID get a stack of pics from TDH, but somehow never noticed the ear cap thing....i'm currently doing another Jango, so i've got that bit almost right this time.

The one in the pics and the one i'm doing now are from horrifically bad ebay cheapo-casts.....sigh......7 or 8 rounds of filling and sanding.....

For terrible EBay casts, you've made them look great! This is a project I'm looking to tackle in the future. Would you mind sharing the type of chrome paint you used?
