So I have this 4ft tall, 1:1 scale Amazon River Dolphin (just the front half) from the 1986 movie "where the river runs black". It is the pride and joy of my collection. It is a fiberglass shell covered in a rubber skin and painted with...??? Not sure. Some sort of rubbery paint. Anyway, I found out today that my cat has been using one side of his face as a scratching post. The paint in nicked all to hell, feels like sandpaper. Is there any way to repair this? I am feeling devastated.

I would pay a professional to fix him if I could find someone... I live in Portland Oregon.
