Scaling with 3D scanning software question

me.jpgSo I have a #D printer and the Maxcrft Iron man suit files and I was reading TKCC71's post on making the suit and he used Skanect to scan his body with an Xbox Kinect to get exact measurements. I used a different program called Reconstruct me which does the same thing and after I scanned half of my body I loaded it into meshmixer with the suit and the suit is enormous compared to me. I've printed some parts already and the default size of the suit is close to my actual size. the question I have is how do I import the STL file of my scan as actual size, I guess. If anyone has any advice or anything that could help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

What ya wanna do is download Netfabb Basic, import your model, scale it to your size and then import your armour files in. I do this for all my armours (currently using for my superior iron man suit) and it's great for getting the model just right in size.

Thanks for the tip. I'm been wondering how to do this for awhile.

So what I ended up doing after reading TKCC71's Post is I downloaded http://www.makehuman.org/index.php Its free software which gives you a 3d model of a man or woman then you type in your exact measurements from head to toe then export it to meshmixer or whatever
