Having a debate with my wife just now. I maintain that Lethal Weapon and Die Hard are both Christmas movies.

Hell, LW even starts with Jingle Bell Rock!

There are other non traditional examples out there.

Thoughts?

This always comes up this time of year. I hear it debated on the radio stations. It usually ends in a even split.

Die Hard is absolutely a Christmas movie. One of my personal favs. Its just not Christmas time until I've watched Die Hard, Scrooged, and Nightmare Before Christmas.

Hell I'm no fool!

Tell her she is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!

You KNOW the rules!

Seriously. You need to get back to the workbench, all of you, myself included. This shouldn't be a thought. "Die Hard is the best Christmas movie ever made?" Yeah, whatever that's FINE. I respect your opinion, dadman... enjoy your action flick that takes place on Christmas Eve and enjoy Lethal Weapon that is vaguely is set in late December, but we need to move on, let's go, all of you, go back to Graflex and Marvel. I'll go back to obscurity and DC.

Happy Holidays, I'm sure not all of you celebrate Christmas.

Seriously? No one has said Batman Returns?

I agree 100%. The opening of the film heavily featured Christmas themed events as the backdrop for the events that were occurring. It was the reason people were gathered and why attacks were planned.
