Jumanji is still #1.

I am afraid that Hollywood will draw the wrong conclusion from its continued success and think that audiences only want soft reboot sequels of movies based on a fictitious board games.

I would hope that studios take notice of a movie that sets its rules and then plays by them. The whole thing is predicated on Video Game logic, the life system is pretty clear, even the respawn mechanic works. All of that plus a cast that plays their characters well makes a solid and enjoyably consistent movie
