So wanted to start a post before it was finished.
So this is where I'm working on now. Never know what it will become it could be broken apart in the end in a diorama or what ever. I keep all my options open :) some picture updates. If you have any cool ideas... Leave me a message :)

What thickness are you using? I'm working on adding some details to mine now. I used some .03 (inch I think?), but it's pretty tall to do most of the detailing. I was going to go by the hobby store and pick up some smaller sizes

I used 0,1 and some times in layers going from big to small.
Also I used a few 0.3 mm but not a lot.
I think 0.3 is to thick I think. But to be honest a can say for sure when all painting and weathering is done. But so far it looks good. I think..

Don't forget the #6 plastics in retail packaging (vacformed cookie trays, for example), can be a source of really thin plastic.

green or Red?

If youre referring to the color of the lasers, they are blue I believe!

Oeps.... Uhhhh.. thanks I'm just finishing off I had red installed. Your sure it's blue?

I can still change it for the top ones the 8 big Cannon's not the 2 small one on the side.

Finally closed the model.. but oommmggg!!! I fit more fibers and cables n there then can fit.. yes it fits now but if you would try to open it, it will just pop open... LoL...
I still need to do a lot of detail paint worst but I'm so happy it's finally closed.. big relief... :)

After braking the model when putting it together and trying to fix it and braking even more I had to take a brake from this model because I almost threw it out, out of frustration.
After a brake of over a month or so I picked it up again and fixed it.
Because I have to much fiber optics in there it did not fully close to I had to fix some holes this created see pic.

And how working on some crazy sick base.
It is not based off anything really it is just my own fantasy letting go. It's going to me a base with mountains caves rivers lakes waterfalls and tropical plants... It all a big first try work... But what's new ;)
I veel really motivated again.
