Let's talk about Marty's jeans. We all know they were made by Guess.
I want to know what kind of guess jeans. Back then, and still today, Guess made a number of similar styles. Marty's were off the rack, not custom, because of the rush in finding wardrobe after the actor change. I think I've narrowed down between Guess jeans 1075 and Guess jeans 1050. The former appears to have additional stitching and buttons which may mean the correct one is 1050. Here's how you can tell the style-
The tag will have the style number marked somewhere on it as seen in the above photo. A few other key identifiers seem to be the lack of a back patch such as on Levi's and the brass Guess button-
That's the extent of my current research, any other input on this mystery is very much welcomed so that we are able to finally determine what kind of jeans Marty wore. We have determined almost his entire wardrobe, except for these jeans. Let's make this happen! I will update this thread as I find more details.
