I never thought it was going to be that big of a deal as so many other people saw it too.

There were so many false spoilers out there that everyone else, including me, were reading and I never thought it would blow up. I was only telling fans on the RPF not the world. LOL

Pawn - been tracking spoilers, because like you I like to know a bit going in so I can see the details and other things I missed more easily. Of the spoilers I have read on various forums, this is thread has provided just enough detail to get my psyched for the movie. When I read "Luke dies" a little part of me died. He is my favorite character, because he represented the "everyman". Rey, IMO, is the new Luke to get a new generation excited while an older generation gets to see Luke go all "John Wick" before apparently disappearing (dying).

But I digress. Thank you.

Luke goes down like a boss, saving his friends one more time, and putting further doubt into Kylo's mind that he isn't as powerful as he thinks.. As I read everything, and Luke "dying" my mind went to a character from Star Wars Rebels. The Bendu. Not sure why...Either way, I registered to give you thanks. I've visited this forum many times, but only to read things (I love props and kudos to all the prop builders.. amazing skills).

I agree. I do not think knowing makes it any less of a film. I may have missed a lot and got things wrong or will rethink things again. Thursday at 7:00 on IMAX. Tickets bought. LOL.

Once something has been made public even if a few screenings, that's it. It's out. and we live in a social media thick world.
Blame the studio for not making everyone wait for the same day.
If someone wants to avoid spoilers, stay away from places there are spoilers. Not hard to do .
 
I saw a new set of movie spoilers and it dealt with artifacts too kill snoke was Luke's goal and Luke Leia and all leave. Crate for tatooine. My only issue is it sounded to fan serviced for a Disney star wars movie. While this sounds sad but how I expected things to go.
 
Question: Your opinion (not spoilers), what % does "The Last Jedi" feel like a remake or "greatest hits" (like "The Force Awakens" was nearly 95%) and what % does it feel like truly its own unique movie?

Wow that’s a tough question. That’s more of an opinion then a spoiler. I don’t want you to judge it that way. Go see it and then we can debate.

@ the Pawn don't worry what those who upset it you made it clear spoilers, my question do Luke and Finn have any scenes together?

Also who is this boy with the broom holding like a saber?
 
Wow people are crazy. One of the websites I looked at did a background check on me. It’s a Movie. A MOVIE!!!

@ the Pawn do not be upset they are the die heart fans they do not like the plot and they searched their feels and they know you are right because there another guy on a different site post same plots as you but he got in little more details and he leaked Marvel last movie few days before it hit the big screen, so many know what you are saying and what he is saying is true and they upset with the direction of the last jedi.

But my question @ the Pawn is Finn jealous when she see Rey has some type of relatonship with Kylo Ren? He almost died to save her.
 
I do not remember anything like that happening. Rey saves the day at the end while Luke is holding off Kylo. There is a lot of back and forth going on in the movie. I mean scene cuts.

Is there anything else at all you can tell us about Finn and/or Poe? The leaks so far have been SUPER light on them and they're my favorite characters :(

1st timer - question! Sorry if I missed it, so many responses, but how does BB-8 get onto Supremacy and does Chewie ever end up there as well?

I believe everyone gets their share of screen time. Poe gets in trouble and demoted, I think, at one point but comes through in the end. Finn defeats Phasma. Her helmet gets cracked in the fight. During the battle she falls to her death. He does not directly kill her. But she dies.

It will be interesting to see what everyone’s take is on the Casino and how its handled in the Star Wars universe.
