Thanks guys!

The weapons were matte clear coated followed by an application of graphite powder to achieve the metallic look. Its really effective and relatively a cheap method.

Very cool. Do you seal it with gloss after or anything?

A matte or satin (not gloss) clear coat will seal it fine. Must be a light coat though. It tends to dull the finish. I always add a bit more graphite to the finished piece in place when it will not be handled too much again.

I love this kit, and you did a great job on it. My only gripe with Bandai on this kit is the bobblehead.

Have you looked at how they appeared in the movies? Not only that in Episode 4 specially, proportions are way off not only their helmets but a lot of different armor parts. I would venture to say this figure has very good proportions considering there were so many variations.
