Had this project sitting around for a little while and thought I would take a stab at it today. I had the prototype done in foam core, covered it all in ABS plastic then lots o bondo..Then after more research I see that my measurements are off.... it looks a little wide :(---- I may finish it anyway for the shelf of oops ...

Not that I know, but maybe someone else has heard. It definitely looks like either one item or two identical halves. Someone on hear, I think OdiWan72 has done one or was working on it.
 
I ran across his photobucket page while searching for reference pics. Wow he did a great job and would love to know how he made some of the pieces.
 
Quick update.. Holidays and all its a slow go lately. I have been plugging away at it and special thanks to Markus Odiwan for his help.

I believe the circular piece with the three raised circles, were from a pack of small batteries. They were also used on the snowtrooper costumes.
