WW1 doco props.

Hey guys, just finished working on a WW1 documentary, shot in both New Zealand and Australia. Just wanted to share some pictures of the weapons and props I built for the project. I was rather glad with how they turned out, considering the rubber bayonets were only made less than 24 hours before shooting started.

-- "So we just found out we will need 30 rubber bayonets made."
- "Sure, when do you need them?"
-- "... Tomorrow."
- "You know it is 1pm on a Sunday?"
-- "Yep."

Anyway, enjoy. :)

I've got one of those real bayonets, stamped 1913.

Those photos certainly look like a well shot doc.

What's the topic?

It is for an exhibit being featured at the war memorial in Villers-Bretonneux, France. Focusing around Australia's efforts on the Western Front. Released next year - uncertain on the exact date though.

Gotta love those last minute " Oh yeah by the way..." moments. I usually get them right before we shoot a scene. Those photos look great, you did some great work on those bayonets.
