Custom Tusken rifle build

Mixed materials, including plywood, copper and PVC tubing, and various old plumbing fittings. I also did a steampunked version as a commission. If I strayed from the original, does this make me a bad person?
 
i made a cycler riffle just recently too, i used the battlefront game as my references..hard to get pictures of both sides of the gun...so i took screen pics while playing in 1st person.
