Oooh, shiny. That seemed rather simple, I was lead to believe that chroming was pretty difficult. Thanks for the vid!

Can it be tinted to gold? Or do they offer a gold chrome? This would great for an Indiana Jones Golden idol.

Yes, there are many color variations available. In fact there are like 20 different grey metal, more or less shiny, but you can't buy them directly from the alclad website, you need to find a reseller

yep! there is a gold in the alclad 2 family its the same exact process. i have also used a brass with pretty good results. its super fun stuff!

nope! its super easy as long as you have an airbrush and a $5 gloss black rattle can your good to go! sanding and filling is key tho. the chrome will amplify any imperfection on your prop, so sand like you have never sanded before hahaha!

What about durability? we have had quite a few threads on chroming. we need it. we want it . but we also want to be able to handle certain props a lot. like guns?
