Highlander Replica ID

Sometime back I acquired as what i know know is a highlander Katana. In doing my research I am unable to find the manufacturer of the sword. I would have figured this would have been easy but it doesn't have the same markings as the major swordsmithing companies I have found. It has Japanese Kenji on the blade which is a steel edged blade. I came with a metal sheath and it isnt mint as it is missing cosmetic items.

Any help figuring this one out would be great!

Yep. The kanji are in the wrong orientation but they roughly translate to “fighting sword special steel”.

联合刀具 特殊鋼

The blade is actually most likely an aluminum alloy (nothing inherently wrong with that in a prop replica).

Thanks for the info and yep it was stated on a different site for United but was unable to find the actual company online.

Some folks I trust on another forum suggest that this was made by United Cutlery.
Thats not UC. Its missing the badge and the UCnumber that should be just above the collar.

UC stopped making years ago.
I was have expected that if this was a UC then it would have this crest on it.
