Spider-man Homecoming custom webshooters

hello world, I started this project at Jan/Feb of this year, its finished already but I will like to show it to you:

I started by looking through a lot of reference pictures, 3d printed ones, stills of the movie, ect. Until I kinda go the final design:

I built everything from that, then I started making templates of every single piece, like the nozzle the cuffs, the cartrige valve,everything

After that, I decided to trace everything into cardboard, and used craftfoam too for some parts

I also tried making a prototype web cartridge, and from that one I got inspired and made a few different designs from it switching from foam to cardboard:

like I wanted that the cuffs were like the ones used in the bts spider-man suit's webshooters I tried to search as much reference pics as I could, until I made this screenshot of a bts:

I would like for people to notice that I made the triggers detachable, and was surprising to see how some guys upgraded this idea.


next I sprayed painted them, and that was the moment I realized that, my painting job was weak ,after the paint I wasnt that satisfied because I could notice all the imperfections, but stil.



then, I painted some parts in black and tried finished the triggers:

I also finished the cartridges and decided to make some others of my own desing, disclaimer I was not the best in using spray paint but im getting there
