RedHood Cosplay

Hello All,

I built this costume last year and am just now getting around to sharing it. RedHood.. Jason Todd is one of my favorite characters. I have 2 young kids so I didn't get as much time as I would have liked to go into more detail, mainly with the chest piece but it worked out alright. Hopefully this might be helpful to some people.

Jacket is a Danier leather Jacket similar to this one https://www.danier.com/mens/outerwear-42/stand-collar-side-stitch-bomber-82905
Gun holsters were similar to these ones from an army surplus store http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adjustable-...&sd=181457640137&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-1
Boots were black army boots from an army surplus store as well
Shirt I went super simple due to time constraints and just drew and cut out the emblem on a thin sheet of EVA foam from Michaels.
Helmet was 3D printed on my Makergear M2. I used automotive filler and sanded it to 80, 120, 200 and to 600 grit then primed and painted with spray paint. I printed the helmet in 3 pieces that took 28 hours in total and a few days of sanding to clean up. I used styrene strips super glued to the inside of the two half's with Velcro to attach the two half's together.

I really dig it man. Gotta be one of the nicest red hood helmets I've seen. Your time and elbow grease investment paid off. :thumbsup
