Jakks big figs Scout Trooper makeover.

Picked up a Jakks big figs Scout Trooper because there so cheap! Planning to turn it into a decent 1/4 scale figure
.

Have started heat bending the arms, legs & feet to give it life.
Hollowed out the ankle holster & made a new blaster for it. Planning to make him a long rifle, so I need to cut his old gun out the hand.
After that it'll be filling the screw holes & repainting.
Really surprised at the quality of the sculpt on these! It's a lot more detailed than the £15 cost would suggest.

Awesome, was all that repositioning done by heat bending or cutting and reapplying ?

Thanks! It's all heat bending. I used a butane pencil torch so I could really localise the heat to the joint areas.

Happy with the pose so now on to filling the joints and sculpting him a bum lol. Hopefully get it ready for painting soon but I'm only getting to work on this 10 minutes here & there.

I totally agree, I was so impressed with the general detail of the sculpt that I bought the 32" Master Chief & the 20" K-2SO for a similar treatment!

Dude, this looks SICK! I'm planning on modding my Biker Scout as well and I never thought about heating it up! I was planning on trying my hand at cutting and redoing with putty but now that I've seen this, I think I'll try this first. Do you have any updated pics since this is a few years old? lol
