I’d like to see more Rogue One type stories that have less to do with Jedi lore or with anyone related to the core characters. I want to see smaller scale stories of ingenuity, bravery and adventure about supportive wartime events - e.g. story of brave members of an underground movement on an Empire-occupied planet to hide downed X-Wing pilots and smuggle them off-world and back home, or the life of a single first order elite trooper born and raised like a Spartan and his heroic deeds, maybe the story of the powerful industrialists who profit off the manufacture and sale of arms to both sides - and, perhaps, how they might prod the fires of conflict politically behind the scenes, etc. That's better than just getting more backstory for a trilogy we've already seen.
