Khan (tv series) ?

A stranded people with no hope of rescue, nearly decimated by ecological disaster and debilitating parasites, is led by a genius maniac who grows more angry and bitter by the day as his loved ones die around him.

A fun Saturday night of TV, amirite? The feelgood hit of the season!

I agree - what exactly is there to tell about being stranded there all those years.

Khan: How we learned to stop hating and start loving the mind controlling brain parasites

Just sit right back and we'll tell a tale
A tale of a gruesome trip
That started on this Botany Bay
Aboard that antique ship

The mate was a fallen Starship girl
A woman strong and sure
Who fell in love with this super-man
Both stranded here for sure, both stranded here for sure

The planet started getting rough
The Botany crew was f---ed,
If not for the superior intellect of Khan
They all would be lost, they all would be lost

So now they're marooned on this garden spot
With Kha-an, his lady dear,
Joaquin, and his wife,
The surfer stars, and the rest,
Are here on Ceti Alpha V…!!

…*It could work.

My first thought while reading this thread was "what?". Then I read the article and saw it might be a miniseries or a limited series and that might not be too horrible. Unless it does really well and they try to make it into a regular series.

…*Now this is the tale of the mutineers,
They're here for a long, long time.
They'll have to build a new empire
It's an uphill climb.

The first mate and her Caesar too,
Will do their very best,
To keep the others alive (servile)
On this remote, planet mess.

No comms! No ship! No phasers, damn!
Not one Star Fleet luxury.
Like Zefram Cochrane among the stars,
It's lonely as can be.

So join us here each week, Trek fans,
You're sure to get a smile (well),
From seventy stranded super-men
Here on … Ce-ti … Al-pha V!!

I think it'd be interesting to see the show split two stories, one during the Eugenics War and when he was stranded on Ceti Alpha V. I mean, it's not that we need to know these things but that would be an interesting set up, I think.
