This is kind of a long shot but I figured The RPF community would be my best bet. So what I'm looking for is a Delorean in the Midwest to help shoot a teaser for a charity event. The event is in February but it would be easier to film without the snow.
The charity is called The Mustache Bash and 100% of the proceeds goes to Great Lakes Burn Camp. The donations allow children who were injured in fires attend a camp for a week with other children without awkward glances or otherwise. The goal is to help the children cope with the aftermath of of being burned while simultaneously learning to live life to the fullest. Last year we celebrated 10 years of The Mustache Bash with a total of close to $60,000 raised!
The Mustache Bash was founded by several firefighters who wanted an excuse to grow mustaches. We decided that we would hold a mustache growing contest with a $20 buy in that would last a month and donate the entry fee to charity. At the end of the month we would throw a party and award prizes in various categories. We had no idea that it would grow (no pun intended) to what it is today. The first year we had 15 growers and last year we have close to 80!
Each year we hold a theme for the party. By far our most popular was the 80's theme which was back in 2013. This year we want to "Go Back" to the 80's with a Back To The Future Theme! So we would love to film a teaser featuring a Delorean. I live in South Bend, IN (basically Notre Dame area). If you our interested in helping us out, just shoot me a PM. Thanks!
